Airport Connections

MaxCell’s® connection with a global logistics and transportation company started almost 20 years ago when our teams met at an industry trade show.  The airport used by the shipper had been using rigid innerduct but found they quickly ran out of room.  Our initial job was to pull 10-15’ of MaxCell as a trial.

Once they saw how well MaxCell worked, we proceeded to add more.

The MaxCell team was called to help the contractor pull over 100,000 feet of MaxCell inside the buildings and around the facility. We were able to facilitate the installation of MaxCell 4” 3-Cell and 3” 3-Cell on the runways, terminals, and distribution centers. This new installation went from the ground to the pull box and into the buildings.

Our 2” 3-Cell was used as a parameter around the airport so the data about the packages on the airplane could start being read before they land – to expedite the sorting process. A ring parameter was created around the airport so the data could be receivedno matter which direction the planes were coming in well ahead of the plane landing and unloading, even the newer big planes.

We have helped the company’s contractors install more than 1 million feet of MaxCell in multiple airports and have expanded MaxCell products into many distribution centers around the country.

Bottom line: MaxCell can expand capacity to speed information delivery, keeping companies moving forward.
